Veggie Man!

Today for the Summer Learning Journey, our task was to create a fruit and vegetable collage. I used Google Drawings to insert pictures of vegetables and fruit and make a collage of a vegetable man. For example, cabbage head, tomato eyes, apple body, celery legs and a banana nose etc. Here is my Veggie man/collage.

Greetings in Maori

Today we learnt to use Scratch to greet people in Te Reo Maori.

We have been using coding. I have made two Frogs in the pool swiming to each other. They are going for a swim. 

We are still working on it.

Spud in a Bucket

 We are learning to grow a spud. All you will need is 

.Blood and Bone   

.cup of fertilizer

.sand 

.spud with sprouts

.grave 

bucket. 

Put holes in the bottom of your bucket so the roots won't rot. Mix the sand with a cup of fertilizer and Blood and Bone 

Put the gravel bottom of the bucket.  We are growing these potatoes for a special competition.
